Porches, decks, and fences

Decks, porches, and fences take the worst of the sun and rain. A good finish keeps the wood protected and looking cared for.

How we do it

1. Cleaning. Anything that isn’t brand new gets cleaned first, usually with a pressure wash.
2. Light sanding to smooth the surface so the finish goes on evenly.
3. Paint, stain, or sealer, whichever suits the wood and the look you want. We mainly use waterborne products and rarely oil-based ones.

Homes built before 1978

We’re not a lead-safe certified (RRP) firm, and Georgia’s rules treat repainting a home built before 1978 as regulated work. We can take on a home that age only after a certified renovator has tested it and found no lead-based paint, or for minor work within Georgia’s small-area limits.
